Unicef chose a Greek photo for the photo of the year
Like every year, this year too Unicef rewards the Photo of the Year Award.
This award is given to photography that, in his opinion, best captures the living conditions of children around the world.
For 2020 the award was awarded to the Greek photographer Angelo georgini, who immortalized the moment when refugee children from Moria camp run to save themselves from the fire that broke out last September.
The Greek photographer writes in a Facebook post that he says he feels “a special honor” for this award, as he emphasizes “Children are the future and we are responsible for them”.
