The shipowner’s son and his co-defendant were released under restrictive conditions and on bail after apologizing to the investigator for the bloody attack on a victim of a man of Albanian origin, in a Peristeri car park.

They both claimed they had nothing to do with the incident. The shipowner’s son said that he was in the shipyard because he wanted to exchange his vehicle for another and that he did not know the victim. In fact, he referred to the testimony of the wounded man himself, who did not identify the two defendants as the perpetrators of the attack.

The two defendants, who face the charge of causing serious bodily injury, were released under the restrictive conditions of being prohibited from leaving the country and appearing before the police twice a month. In addition, a bond of 10,000 euros was set for the shipowner’s son and 5,000 euros for the other defendant.
