A doctor from Volos attempted suicide while taking a large number of pills. According to the information, the doctor drove his car to a rural area of Melissatika where he consumed a large number of pills. Around 6:00 p.m., he informed a family member by phone and he, in shock, notified the police and friends.
Immediately there was a great mobilization due to its location, with the participation of policemen, firefighters, volunteers from the Magnesia Special Forces Club and citizens, while an EKAB ambulance was on alert in a central area of the city. Finally, after eager efforts, the doctor was located in Melissatika at 7:30 p.m. The doctor was found alive, but he was lethargic. The ambulance rushed to the scene, picked him up, and took him immediately to Volos Hospital. The doctor was referred to the Emergency Department for first aid.
