Nine people traveling by private jet from Turkey arrested Sunday at Orly airport in Paris, since they did not have the necessary documents, as an airport source affirmed today, confirming information from Le Point magazine.
This is the first time that illegal immigrants arrive in France by private jet.said Didier Leschi, director of the French Service for Immigration and Integration (OFIJ).
The detainees, who stated that they are Kurds, traveled on planes belonging to an Austrian company. The case is being investigated by the Creteil prosecutor’s office.
According to Le Point passengers paid 30,000 euros for this flight.
