THE Sweden, known for its relaxed response to the pandemic, today set a record for the number of patients with coronavirus hospitalized, according to calculations by the state broadcaster.
Swedish Broadcasting Corporation (SVT) reported that a total of 2,389 patients, including those in the ICU, received hospital treatment for the disease today, 65 more than on April 20, when the previous record was set.
According to SVT, three of the 21 provinces of the country did not currently provide updated data on Covid-19 and that they used the latest data reported for these areas.
