Crowds on London's shopping streets: the experts

A large crowd is seen in the central parts of the British capital, especially in the shopping streets on the “excursions” of the residents before Christmas to go shopping.

According to the British press, scientists warn that citizens should avoid Christmas gatherings because there is a risk that Covid-19 cases will increase and the situation will get out of control again. They also highlight that the government is sending the wrong messages, with the partial relaxation of measures risking a resurgence of the pandemic.

It is observed that the restrictive measures foresee meetings of two or three families between December 23 and 27, trips to other family members and gatherings in gardens, houses and outdoors or churches.
