An amount of more than 150,000 euros from an accounting office in Kalamaria, Thessaloniki, was stolen by a mother and son.
The theft was investigated immediately after the police actions. from the Kalamaria Security Department.
They were identified as perpetrators 19 years old and her 35 year old mother, who, as part of a coordinated police operation, were located in N. Efkarpia and detained.
According to the police investigation, the young man detained, along with his accomplices whose details have not yet been identified, on the night of 09/12/2020, entered the office illegally and after deducting 150,000 euros, escaped in a vehicle rented by his 35-year-old mother and given to them.
During a search at the home of the two detainees in the N. Efkarpia area, several electronic devices and mobile phones were found and confiscated. the legality of whose possession is investigated, as well as part of the stolen money.
The detainees will be brought before the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
