Attica Security proceeded with two arrests for espionage in Rhodes.
They are Greek Muslims, one of whom works on a passenger ship, which operates ferry services connecting Rhodes to Kastelorizo and the second works at a Consular Authority in Rhodes.
The investigation was carried out in collaboration with EYP and the assistance of the Rodas Security Sub-Directorate.
A case has been brought against them for espionage.
The announcement of EL.AS. for the incident:
“The Sub-Directorate of State Security of the Security Directorate of Attica filed a complaint against two (2) neighbors, for violation of article 148 of the Penal Code (espionage) and AN 376/1936 (on security measures for fortified positions) for conspiracy.
From the above, one works on a passenger ship, which operates ferry routes that connect the island of Rhodes with the island of Megisti (Kastelorizo) and the other works in a Consular Authority in Rhodes.
The entire investigation of the case was carried out in close collaboration with the EYP and the assistance of the Rodas Security Subdirectorate. “
