Professor of Linguistics and former Rector of the University of Athens, George Babiniotis.
Specifically in a new post he mentions:
In the spirit of speaking as much Greek as possible to the Greeks and understanding everyone we say, I suggest:

Let there be better suggestions. Let me again act as a weak voice of our “linguistic conscience” lest some of the proponents of easy solutions (fatalistic acceptance almost as given foreign words and names) believe that it is not difficult or ridiculous to test the Greek versions. no, not necessarily mine, there may be better ones. (The “lovers of the language plate”, who flock in our country due to the scarce linguistic sensitivity, let them continue with their plate, this also serves to measure the limits of our guilty tolerance).
I will insist on saying this: for small languages (that is, the least spoken) to resist linguistics and not be disturbed, they need great resistance! This also applies to Greek. (Things are different in large countries with more widely spoken languages like French, Italian, Spanish, etc.)
