As announced in the official briefing of the Ministry. Health for the coronavirus, the new infections in the capital are 295, while the new cases of the virus in the second largest city in the country are 357.

It is recalled that EODY announced 1,395 new cases nationwide in the last 24 hours (1,534 yesterday), although the country is in the fifth week of the blockade.
The “hard markers” of the epidemic are moving to high levels again, as Covid-19 patients who finished in the last 24 hours rose to 102. At the same time, intubated patients in the country’s ICUs are 583.
In total figures, the positive diagnoses in Greece reached 122,648, while the victims of the health crisis 3,472.
The EODY announcement in detail:
Today we announce 1,395 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 9 were detected after controls on the country’s portals. The total number of cases is 122,648, of which 52.6% are men.
5076 (4.1%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 34774 (28.4%) are related to an already known case.
583 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 66. 169 (29.0%) are women and the rest are men. 76.7% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 711 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 102 more registered deaths and 3,472 total deaths in the country. 1,392 (40.1%) women and the rest men. The mean age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.0% had an underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
