Sadness in Lamia society and especially in the educational community upon hearing the news that the Director of Secondary Education of Fthiotida “passed away” at noon on Friday (12/11) at the age of 65. Argyropoulos coasts after a long battle with the coronavirus.
According to lamiareport.gr, this excellent teacher, man and father of a family was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit for Coronavirus at Lamia Hospital on November 23 for serious complications in his health and since then he has been fighting an unequal battle with the deadly virus .
Finally, despite the great effort of the UCI medical staff, the Director of Secondary Education of Fthiotida could not bear it and left his last breath.
Costas Argyropoulos was appointed last August, based on his qualifications, as director of Secondary Education in the prefecture in the transition period until the reorganization of educational structures planned by the Ministry of Education is completed.
