Alpha’s response to the attack by MP Christos Giannoulis

An unprecedented attack was received by the journalist and presenter of Alpha’s main newsletter, Antonis Schroeter, but also in general or Alpha, by the deputy from SYRIZA Christos Giannouli. In a post on Twitter, the MP left advice for a “paid” interview with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis that was given to Alpha’s main newsletter on Monday, December 7. The deputy even wondered if a bill was cut for the interview!

This immoral attack from the deputy Christou Giannouli, who before being elected deputy also declared himself a journalist, not only hurts his face Antonis Schroeter, but also the station and the entire journalistic profession.

Faced with the barrage of reactions from all political fields, Mr. Giannoulis rushed to withdraw his publication from social networks, and managed to refuse, in a telephone conversation he had with Taki Hatzi and the municipality of Verikios on Alpha 98.9 radio, saying that … something else meant at the end.

Listen to the excerpt:

THE Alpha He wants to remember that all the political leaders of the country and of course all the prime ministers have been hosted in his main bulletin. The president of SYRIZA, the party to which Mr. Giannoulis belongs, has also appeared several times in the news bulletin, as prime minister and president of the official opposition. And, of course, it will be hosted in the future. Therefore, it would be good for Mr. Giannoulis to consider that if he considers that the interviews with political leaders and politicians in general are the subject of an economic transaction, he first insults the president and the deputies of his party, who usually stay at Alpha.

We remind Mr. Giannoulis that the interview with current political figures, and in particular the interview with the Prime Minister of the country, is one of the fundamental institutional obligations of the Media.
