An alarm has sounded in Raptopoulos, Evrytania, where it was decided to take restrictive measures by “closing” the village, as a large spread of the coronavirus was detected.

THE Civil protection decided to take restrictive measures in the village of Raptopoulo for urgent reasons to face a serious risk to public health. Specifically, it was decided:

– The temporary imposition of a domiciliary restriction on the residents of the mentioned village and the temporary elimination of the possibility of their movement outside the limits of the geographical unit of the local communities of their Municipality.

– The care of the Central Greece Region and the Municipality of Agrafa for the supply and provision of basic needs (food, medicine, etc.) of the villagers and for any type of assistance in cases of residents with chronic diseases and distress.

– The care of the Regional Administration of Fire Services (PE.PY.D.) of Central Greece for the assistance to the personnel and the means, where and when it is necessary.

“Right now, strict compliance with the measures is our ‘vaccine’ against the coronavirus. We must strictly discipline the recommendations of EODY and the Ministry of Health to safeguard public health in our area. We understand the tiredness, stress and anxiety of residents but we must continue to work hard to get back to normal as soon as possible.
