The strong wind “accompanied” the heavy rains, causing many problems.
Damage to house roofs, awnings and scaffolding, as well as falling trees caused extreme weather a few hours ago in the city of Astakos.
According to the first information, a tornado “hit” the city causing damage to both public and private buildings. The tornado was accompanied by huge volumes of water.
The machinery of the municipality of Xiromeros is already on the roads to repair the damage. The Deputy Mayor for Civil Protection, Mr. Bambouris, is on site.
