When a flight you watch from your computer on the live flight deck takes your breath away from the agony of watching the pilot’s efforts, imagine what the passengers and pilots are going through.
The problems at Kefalonia airport are endless and this is the responsibility of the Government. According to kefaloniapress.gr, a few days ago the runway lights were not working, while today the windshields are not working.
The Sky Express flight from Athens to the island, fell at the time of a strong local storm and this in combination with the damage to the wind vans, generated great difficulties in landing.
The pilot maintained his composure and after many laps over the airport, but also with the help of the control tower, he managed to land the plane safely.
