An alarm has been sounded in India following the outbreak of a mysterious infection that has so far sent more than 500 people to hospital and one has died. In combination with the coronavirus cases, the situation in the country’s hospitals is quite stressful.

But according to a CNN report, health officials in India have found excessive amounts of lead and nickel in blood samples taken from patients treated in Andhra Pradesh.

Preliminary results of a study by a team from the Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) showed high concentrations of lead and nickel particles in blood samples from patients.

At the same time, no traces of lead and nickel were found in water samples analyzed by AIIMS in Delhi.

Of the 505 people who were hospitalized, 300 were discharged and the man who died was 45 years old without any other illness.

The disease of unknown origin that was detected last Saturday in the ancient city of Elurou adds to the nightmare that India lives with the coronavirus while it continues to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, with the second highest number of infections in the world and in fact Andhra P. of the countries most affected by the country.
