Sadly, another of our fellow citizens and a member of the Giannitsa hospital nursing staff lost his life.
The tragedy of the pandemic in Greece is endless as another health worker died in Giannitsa.
He is a 55-year-old father of two who did not have an underlying disease. He worked at Giannitsa Hospital while being treated for intubation in Ippokratio.
POEDIN President Michalis Giannakos highlighted about the new loss:
Another colleague from Giannitsa Hospital died on Friday afternoon. Hospital gynecologist whose clinic had a large spread of the virus. 55-year-old father of a child without underlying diseases. You cannot justify the loss of people who lived normal lives. He lived in Thessaloniki, became ill and was hospitalized in the Hippocratic Hospital. In recent days the situation has worsened and he was hospitalized in Hippocrates’ ICU.
Condolences to family and colleagues
A private pediatrician and his wife died at the EDESSAS Hospital, intubated. At the Edessa hospital there is an ICU with 3 full beds and 5 intubated ICUs are being treated in the wards ”.
