For tomorrow, Monday, heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected, which in some places will be accompanied by hail, according to available forecast data. National Observatory of Athens / Meteo.gr.
From the night of Sunday 06/12 until the early morning of Monday 07/12, heavy rains and thunderstorms will occur in western Greece, where they will gradually move eastward, affecting most of our country until the evening. There is the possibility of local hail on the Aegean islands, while snowfall will occur in the mountains of Epirus and Macedonia.
However, the phenomena will be brief in nature, as the weather will gradually improve from the west as well. The movement of the cold front and the estimated rain heights that it will cause during Monday 07/12, are presented in the next group of rain maps.
At the same time, the crossing of the cold front will temporarily cause stormy winds in the seas, with intensities reaching 8 Beaufort locally.
