By decision of the Vice Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, responsible for Welfare and Social Solidarity, Domnas Michailidou, your last dose child allowance will be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts before the New Year, on December 31, instead of January 30, 2021.
The payment refers to the two months from December to January.
According to a relevant ad Ministry of Labor, The money will be delivered earlier, due to holidays, so that families can meet their growing needs while stimulating the market.
In total, in 2020, more than 885,000 families with 1.5 million children received the benefit. Total annual spending is expected to reach 1,040,000,000 euros.
The subsidy is awarded to beneficiaries with children subject to compulsory attendance, as long as there is a confirmed enrollment in the school and they have not remained in the same class, due to a large number of absences.
Likewise, on December 31 it will be delivered along with all the monthly allowances and the mountainous and disadvantaged areas for the years 2019 and 2020.
