Trump’s Last Effort: Lawsuit to Override Results Filed in Georgia

Donald Trump’s reelection campaign has announced that he has filed a lawsuit in Georgia state court to annul the results of the U.S. presidential elections in the state.

Failed appeals

This is the latest in a series of unsuccessful appeals aimed at reversing the defeat of outgoing US President-elect Joe Biden in the November 3 election.

The Trump administration said in a statement that the lawsuit included affidavits from Georgia residents alleging fraud.

Numerous lawsuits

The Trump camp has filed numerous lawsuits in the United States in a desperate attempt to reverse its electoral defeat.

Almost all the appeals have been dismissed by the courts.
