Following Olympiacos’ defeat to Marseille on Tuesday (1/12), PAOK and AEK were also defeated on Thursday and with three defeats Greece did not add a single point to their UEFA ranking, they remained 17th but saw Czech Republic Switzerland to be within reach of breath and at the same time the Croats have narrowed the gap.

In the first match of the day, AEK suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Braga and failed to give Greece some points.
This was followed by the PAOK match where Pablo García’s team was beaten 2-1 in Cyprus by Omonia and did not give Greece a single point either.
