“Schools will be closed for as long as the experts tell us,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said when asked about it during a teleconference hosted by the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce as part of the 31st annual Greek Economic Summit.
Distance education was the best option we had, while it is also an opportunity for children and especially the little ones to give a lesson.
According to the Prime Minister, there were many reactions to e-learning, mainly from parents who complained that they should stay home with their children.
The children, he said, were the ones who adapted immediately despite the crown’s difficulties.
He thanked the teachers for their participation in the thousands of digital classes that are held every day.
Despite the difficulties for children, I recognize that the knowledge and skills that children acquire through distance learning will pay off in the future.
