Man commits suicide in front of the police

Commotion in the southern suburbs, where a few hours ago a man committed suicide in front of DIAS police officers who failed to react and the man ended his life with a shotgun.

Police were reportedly called to the scene because there was a family incident.

According to the same information, there was a dispute between the mother and her son.

When the police reached the intersection of Agiou Petros and Thorikou streets, the 44-year-old father of the family came out of the house and put the carbine under his jaw, ending his life.
The area has been cordoned off and it is not yet known what led him to commit suicide.
