An alarm has been sounded to the police following the location of the charred heap of a well-known island businessman.
Agents from the Attica Security Homicide Department, who have been in Santorini since the morning, are seeking answers to the horrible death of the famous 69-year-old hotelier from secular Oia.
The businessman was found charred in front of the reception of his hotel unit on Friday afternoon, being the Police who initiated the investigations from the first moment.
There were no signs of rape
Since the first autopsy carried out by the agents of the Directorate of Criminological Investigations who arrived on the island of the Cyclades, they did not find any trace of violation or disturbance inside the hotel, while it does not appear that there was any lost object or that there was a robbery in the safe.
The mystery surrounding the 69-year-old man’s horrific death is growing even further as no flammable material has been found at the site of the pile, thus creating loopholes as to how the fire was caused in his body.
Valuable data on the progress of the investigation will give the results of the necropsy, an autopsy that will be carried out on the hotelier’s body to determine if he had any injury, while it is very important to determine if he was alive or not at the time he was wrapped in calls.
