One small town in Austria called Damned (Fuking in German) changes the way you write for … understandable reasons.
The Austrian people decided to change their name, as the residents got tired of comments caused by the English meaning of the name of your town and by the travelers who went there to … Steal dishes.
“The city council decided to change the name of Fucking to Fucking “As of January 1, 2021,” Andrea Holzner, conservative mayor of the Tarsdorf municipality, owner of Fucking, north of Salzburg, near the German border, said in a statement issued Monday but released today.
The approx. 100 inhabitants of the village were often outraged by those who in recent years traveled to the village just to steal the dishes by name or to throw obscene Photos next to them and post them on social media.
