Rapid testing continues across the country: 69 cases detected in 1,362 tests

EODY teams consisting of Mobile Health Groups (KOMY) conducted free rapid antigen tests (driving) today, Tuesday, November 24, via car (driving).

The total of 6 actions were organized in central and easily accessible points in urban and provincial areas of 6 Regional Units of Greece, giving the opportunity to more than a thousand citizens to be tested free of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

In total, 1,362 rapid tests were performed, of which 69 cases (5.06%) were found. Positive test results affect 39 men and 30 women.

Data on current actions in open space across Greece are presented in the following areas.

PE Andros – Korthi
51 rapid tests were performed, all of which were negative.

Thessaly PE – Neapolis Covered Market
478 rapid tests and 47 positive results (9.83%) were performed. They refer to twenty-six men and twenty-one women with an average age of 47 years.

PE Corinth – Kiato
211 rapid tests were performed and 1 positive (0.47%) resulted in a 45-year-old man.

PE Messinia – Kalamata Ballroom
174 rapid tests were performed, all negative.

PE Rodopi – Dodecanese 8-22, Komotini
228 rapid tests were performed and 13 were positive (5.70%). They refer to six men and seven women with a mean age of 42 years.

PE Fthiotida – Filias 10, Lamia
220 rapid tests were performed and 8 were positive (3.63%). They refer to six men and two women with a mean age of 49 years.
