The 26-year-old, who worked in a motorcycle workshop, was found dead last Saturday night in the back of the island, along with his motorcycle.

His death was initially attributed to a car accident, but then the coroner located knife wound in the abdomen. This fact raised the suspicions of the Authorities that something else is behind the death of the young man. Thus, collecting evidence and testimonies, they ended up with the 22-year-old as the main suspect in the murder, since the two young men, according to information, had been arguing intensely a while before.

In fact, according to EL.AS trade unionist Stavros Balaska, who spoke on SKAI TV, it all happened in front of witnesses, friends of the 22-year-old, who testified to the police what they saw.

According to the same source, the 22-year-old alleged perpetrator pursued the victim with a dagger in his hand and a pistol. As soon as he approached him at respiratory distance, he stabbed him in the abdomen (below the navel). Shortly after, the 26-year-old was found covered in blood and authorities were notified.

According to Stavros Balaskas, authorities are examining another aspect of the crime in Spetses: the misinformation given to EKAB by two people who found the 26-year-old covered in blood. They are being questioned, he said, as they initially claimed that the 26-year-old was the victim of a car accident.
