The government has prepared a plan for the opening of schools, of all levels, on December 7, and the prime minister is expected to make the relevant announcements by the end of the week with a sermon to the Greek people.
Since the schools are not coronavirus outbreaks and have closed, to limit the mobility of adults, the government is considering opening and operating them for the closing date for the Christmas holidays.

According to MEGA, the government’s plan provides for rapid and repeated sampling in schools across Greece, when students return to their classes.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis is expected to announce the opening of the schools with his sermon, likely on Friday, during which he will also announce the extension of the closure by one or two weeks.
Government officials consider these days the most critical days of the entire pandemic in Greece since the beginning of the crisis.

The Minister of Education also affirmed that there is nothing that can replace lifelong learning, but as long as experts tell us that schools must be closed, e-learning is mandatory.
