The director of the 1st Clinic of Educational Pathology of “AHEPA” Christos Savvopoulos spoke to the main news bulletin of MEGA and Rania Tzima about the situation that prevails in the hospitals that fight against the coronavirus.

As Mr. Savvopoulos pointed out during on-call time yesterday, they were forced to evacuate the pathology clinic to become a Covid clinic.

“The latest admissions give optimism that the clinic can return,” said Mr. Savvopoulos, emphasizing that despite all the doctors’ best efforts, their morale remains high.

At the same time, he stressed that only one private doctor came to help the hospital through the regulation of the Ministry of Health, while he pointed out that the next cases will determine the resilience of the city’s hospitals.

“If the system collapses, then it will be from living matter, since we are all exhausted”, added the director of the 1st Clinic of Educational Pathology of “AHEPA”.
