- The Army will acquire 95 guard dogs,

Dogs to choose from:
– Being a German Shepherd or Belgian Shepherd or Dutch Shepherd for surveillance / detection purposes, in general appearance, oriental construction, weight, dimensions, proportions, color and coat corresponding to the characteristics of each recognized race and / or species. In addition, for detection purposes, dogs of other breeds may be accepted, depending on the requirements of each Sector and as specified in the notices of the contests held on a case-by-case basis,
– Their age must be from 12 to 24 months, date of presentation of the required supporting documents, except paternal (reproduction), for which the age of selection is set at 18-36 months,
Male and female dogs are accepted, with the exception that females are used as caretakers, after having been neutered at the supplier’s expense, once the selection is completed.
– Dogs that are not accompanied by pedigree or pedigree certificates, issued by the World Kennel Club, are also accepted. [Federation Cynologist International(FCI)], Based on job performance and phenotype.
