A large forest fire broke out in an area between the villages of Lappa and Bodeika in western Achaia
A strong force from the Fire Brigade is operating at the scene with 4 vehicles, 10 firefighters while operating 2 SEDIP volunteer vehicles.
According to the first information from tempo24.news the fire reached the side of a stable and the owners took their animals out of the place.
The Achaia and Ilia fire brigades have been facing a barrage of multiple fires since this afternoon.
Outbreaks occurred on the borders of the 2 prefectures and in areas close to Krestena, Lechena, Alissos and Bodeika. A fire also broke out near the Andravida airport fence.
