The hunt was fatal for a 30-year-old foreigner, who was shot in the abdomen by a friend who passed him by prey, for which he was fatally injured and ended up in the ambulance on his way to the Hospital.
An ambulance, which had been called to go to Tsagarada, was notified on the way that there was an emergency in the Milia area, where it finally went to pick up the man, who suffered a serious abdominal injury. At the same time, an EKAB mobile unit was informed, that it came across the ambulance on the way to pick up the wounded, something that happened immediately, however the unfortunate ended.
According to information from ERT Volos, the man had gone hunting wild boar in a forest above Milies and suddenly the victim cut himself, entered the bushes and his friend thought it was a wild boar and shot him.
The preliminary investigation of the tragic accident is being conducted by the South Pelion Police Department.
