Until 17:00, the Tax Offices are open to the public from 23 November.
The Independent Public Revenue Authority is extending the hours of the Tax Offices until late in the afternoon, during traffic restriction measures, with the aim of providing the best possible and continuous service to taxpayers in the midst of the pandemic.
By decision of the Governor of AADE, George Pitsilis, as of Monday, November 23, the Tax Offices will operate as follows:
1. Public service hours (only for scheduled meetings) and telephone service: 08.00 – 17.00
2. Cash transactions: 08.00 to 15.00
3. The Tax Offices will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., only calls to the Tax Agency secretariat for scheduling meetings are answered.
It is remembered that the commercial public goes to the Tax Agency only by appointment and if their request cannot be answered in any other way.
To avoid scheduling and limiting the spread of the coronavirus, four shifts are created for employees, as follows:
07:00 – 15:00
08:00 – 16:00
09:00 – 17:00
10:00 – 19:00
The total number of employees, who are in the service building at the same time, cannot exceed 67% of the total staff providing services in this service.
The rest of the staff work remotely. Afternoon shift staff work remotely for the first four hours of the shift (10:00 – 14:00) and in person for the remainder of the shift (15:00 – 19:00).
The Governor of the Independent Public Revenue Authority, George Pitsilis, said: “Our concern is always the best possible service to taxpayers.
