Instructions for office workers

  • Apply preventive practices, physical distance, precautions against coughing and sneezing, washing hands, and avoiding facial contact.

  • If this is not possible, it must be put into continuous operation (24/7) maintaining very good natural ventilation of the space (open window).
  • Reduce, as necessary, physical contact between them. employees (during meetings, breaks or meals).
  • If the work meeting becomes mandatory, take all the precautionary measures, do a good pre-briefing and complete it in less than 10 minutes.
  • Travel to other offices should be limited to what is absolutely necessary.
  • Contact with the public always by appointment and for a very short time.
  • The use of a mask is mandatory, if there is a second person in the office.

What should a boss do if an employee has symptoms of COVID-19?

  • If you are at work, inform your occupational physician and COVID-19 manager.
  • He leads the worker to an isolation area, who washes his hands, wears a mask and gloves, does not come into contact with other people, and leaves after receiving medical treatment.
  • Seek medical attention immediately and inform EODY if the employee feels unwell. If he feels good, he goes home.
  • You stay at home with a mask, in a well-ventilated room, away from your roommates.
  • Undergoes a test (molecular test)

What should the boss do if an employee comes to work with COVID-19 symptoms?

General ventilation instructions – cleaning

  • Natural ventilation of all areas at regular intervals.
  • Frequent cleaning of smooth surfaces of frequent use [πόμολα, χερούλια, κουπαστή από σκάλες ή κιγκλίδωμα, ανελκυστήρες, διακόπτες, βρύσες] with common cleaners, i.e. water and liquid soap, or a 10% household bleach solution (1 part household bleach diluted in 10 parts water) or alcoholic antiseptic.
  • Cleaning work by staff should be performed with durable disposable or reusable gloves, mask, and work uniform.
  • Gloves and mask after use must be disposed of immediately in plastic bags in containers.
  • No attempt is made to clean or wash disposable gloves and reuse them.
  • Toilet sinks should always have a bottle of liquid laundry soap and disposable paper towels, which should be disposed of in the containers next to the sinks.
  • All garbage containers must have a foot cover and contain a disposable plastic bag.
  • Thorough cleaning of common objects, computer keyboard and mouse, telephones, copiers, fax machines, printers.
  • Container plastic bags, when full, should be tied tightly and removed immediately.
  • What should you do if you have symptoms of COVID-19?
  • If you are at work, inform your boss, wash your hands, wear a mask and gloves, avoid contact with other people, go to the isolation area and leave, after seeking immediate medical attention.
