British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has submitted to self-isolation after contact with a person who was diagnosed positive for the coronavirus.

The news of the quarantine was confirmed by the representative of the British Prime Minister, who stressed that he is in good health and does not present any symptoms of the virus.

“The NHS notified the prime minister today that he should isolate himself as a contact with someone diagnosed with a coronavirus,” he said.

“The prime minister will follow the self-isolation rules and will continue to work from his office in Downing Street,” he added.

According to the British media, Johnson, in a meeting he held with MPs a few days ago, also spoke with MP Lee Anderson, who later tested positive for the virus.

The MP met with the British prime minister on Thursday and even posted a relevant photo on social media, writing, among other things: “Breakfast at No. 10 with the prime minister.”

As you can see in the photo, keeping their distances, neither of them has taken the most important measure of all: the protective mask.

It is recalled that the British Prime Minister had become seriously ill from the murder a few months ago and needed intensive care.

He was the first leader of a country infected with the coronavirus, and during the first wave of the pandemic, he was among those who underestimated the severity of the disease, delaying measures to slow the spread of the virus.

However, it seems that… he suffered and learned, since during the second wave of the pandemic, strict measures have been taken following the policy of most European countries with the imposition of strict measures and confinement.
