The decision of the Head of the Hellenic Liberation Army, Lieutenant General Michalis Karamalakis, was issued some time ago to ban all gatherings throughout Greece, in view of the anniversary of the Technical University.
The decision provides for fines of up to 5,000 euros for those who violate it, without exception, either as organizers or as participants in any meeting of more than four people.
The ban is valid from 6 a.m. tomorrow, November 15 to Wednesday, November 18 at 9 p.m.
A statement from the Hellenic Police Headquarters issued by the ban states that due to urgent needs to address a serious risk to public health and in the context of emergency measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, by Decision of the Head of the Greek Police, Throughout the territory, all public meetings in the open air, in which (4) or more people participate, from 6:00 a.m. on November 15 to 9:00 p.m. on November 18 November 2020.
For offenders, subject to the application of other sanctions derived from current legislation, the following sanctions are provided: administrative fine (5,000) euros for legal persons and (3,000) euros for natural persons, who organize public meetings in the open air and an administrative fine (300) euros to people who violate the prohibition by participating in public meetings in the open air.
