Cases today: The data announced by EODY are shocking today Saturday (11/14) and reflect the uncontrolled course of the coronavirus in our country.
The new laboratories confirmed cases of the disease are 2835, of which 15 were identified after controls at the gates of the country. The total number of cases is 72,510 (daily variation + 4.1%), of which 54.0% are men.

The median age of the patients who died was 80 years. The number of patients treated intubated is 366 (69.4% men).

Of the total of 7,2510 cases, 4,622 (6.4%) are considered related to travel from abroad, 18,812 (25.9%) are related to an already known case and the rest are not related to travel or any other known case or they are still under investigation.
The average age of the cases is 40 years (range 0 to 104 years), while the average age of death is 80 years (range 25 to 103 years). The age distribution of (a) total cases, (b) deaths, and (c) intubated patients is as follows:

Geographic dispersion
The map shows the geographical distribution of total COVID-19 cases (since the beginning of the epidemic) by Peripheral Unit of the country, based on the patient’s declared permanent residence address, or the address
temporary residence for tourists and other temporary residents in Greece. It includes both cases with a travel history (“imported”) and cases with possible national transmission.

Samples tested: From January 1, 2020 to the present, in laboratories that perform tests for the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and that systematically report to EODY all the samples they analyze, a total of 2078062 have been analyzed. clinical samples while from EODY Health Units and Stairs that perform Rapid Ag inspections 110781 samples have been tested.
