EODY announced 3,038 new cases of coronavirus in the country, of which 11 were detected after controls at the country’s gates. The total number of cases is 69,675, of which 54.1% are men.
4,601 (6.6%) are considered related to trips from abroad and 18,334 (26.3%) are related to a known case.
336 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their average age is 65. 100 (29.8%) are women and the rest are men. 81.8% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years or older. 362 patients have been discharged from the ICU.
Finally, we have 38 more registered deaths and 997 deaths in total in the country, 399 (40%) women and the rest men. The average age of our dying fellow citizens was 80 years and 96.9% had some underlying disease and / or were 70 years or older.
Of the 3,038 new cases 697 were located in the Attica region, 725 in the Thessaloniki region, 197 in the Larissa region, 148 in the Pella region and 103 in the Magnesia region.
