According to the government spokesperson, if the new measures to restrict traffic between 9:00 PM and 5:00 AM do not work, additional measures will be considered, which will be the following:

- Restriction of the operation of the school
- Restriction of the operation of professional activities that are still in operation

“We want the market to be open in December and at Christmas, that is our main objective,” Petsas said, leaving open the possibility of extending the closure. “No one can rule out an extension of the measures in December, but if we follow the measures, this will not be necessary,” he said.
The government spokesman also referred to the situation in ICUs where hospitals are under pressure, noting that to control the situation it is necessary to control the pandemic.
