A bloody incident took place Tuesday night in the Giannitsa area, at the western entrance to Thessaloniki, where a 60-year-old man was attacked for a reason unknown until now, with a sharp object.
According to information, at around 10:30 p.m., an unknown person stabbed a transgender person in the chest, who was being extradited on Koletti Street. The circumstances in which the author attacked his victim have not been disclosed.
The wounded man went to the Gennimatas hospital on his own, where it was found that he had a serious lung injury. It was considered necessary to transport him to the AHEPA hospital where he is being treated.
According to police sources, he is a transgender person. The investigation of the incident, which took place shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Koletti Street, has been carried out by the White Tower Police.
