Pensions – See all the news here: Thousands of retirees await payment of main and auxiliary pensions – When do payments begin for the month of December?
Regarding the provision of law 4611/2019 (Government Gazette, Edition A 73 / 05.17.2019) entitledSettlement of debts with the Social Security Institutions, the Tax Administration and the local authorities of a title, Public arrangements of pensions and other insurance and pension provisions, Improvement of the protection of employees and other provisions – are determined new payment dates for the main pensions.
How date of payment of the main monthly pensions of EFKA is defined:
- For employees the penultimate business day of the previous month
- For the self-employed the fourth last working day of the previous month
In exceptional cases, the dates in section 1 may differ after a reasoned decision by the EFKA Board of Directors and approval by the Minister of Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity.
By decision of the Minister of Labor, Social Security and Social Solidarity, the necessary details for the application of this, as well as the form of its application to the organizations that pay benefits that are not reduced monthly. As of the entry into force of this, any other provision to the contrary will be repealed.
As in the previous month and in order to avoid overcrowding in the banks, retirees of large funds will be paid, except unexpectedly, on different dates depending on the latest number of their AMKA.
But in all probability IKA will pay them earlier and based on the last digit of AMKA, to avoid overcrowding (as in previous months).
In this case The most common payment dates for December 2020 IKA pensions are:
- IKA will pay you on Monday, November 23, 2020 (for retirees whose AMKA expires on 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)
- IKA will pay you on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 (for retirees whose AMKA expires at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8)
For the other funds The December 2020 pensions will be paid as follows:
- OAEE will pay you on Wednesday, November 25, 2020
- OGA will pay you on Wednesday, November 25, 2020
- The EBRD (No Employees) will pay you on Wednesday, November 25, 2020
If IKA pensions are paid earlier (see dates above), OAEE, OGA, EBRD pensions (non-employees) can be paid one day later, that is, Thursday, November 26, 2020.
- The State will pay them on Friday, November 27, 2020
- NAT will pay you on Friday, November 27, 2020
- The OPEC will pay the pensions of the elderly without insurance on Monday, November 30, 2020
- The remaining EFKA (Employees) funds will be paid on Friday, November 27, 2020)
- Temporary pensions for the Armed Forces, Security Forces and Fire Department for December 2020 will be paid on Friday, November 27, 2020
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in cooperation with the e-EFKA Administration decided that the payment of the main and auxiliary pensions would be made on the same date permanently.
- Therefore, the supplementary pensions for December 2020 will be paid at the same time as the main pensions.
When the money appears in the accounts
The pension amounts are displayed at the ATMs and are available for withdrawal working day before the date of payment in the afternoon to night (normally from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. depending on the bank).
Therefore, if the payday is Monday, the pension money appears available at the ATMs from Friday night (previous working day).
