The 15-year-old and the 17-year-old, who were summoned for examination for the brutal murder of a 50-year-old man in Agia Varvara, will give statements to the GADA Security Police until Sunday night.

The 15-year-old and her 17-year-old friend were found in an abandoned workshop in Serres. They were then taken to Thessaloniki and from there to Athens and the General Directorate of Police of Attica.

Attica Security Homicide Officers investigating the case take testimony from the two minors. The two had disappeared after locating the dead woman in St. Barbara and were wanted by authorities. According to the investigation, they traveled by bus from Athens to Serres, where relatives of the 17-year-old live.

The Chronicles

It is recalled that police officers from the Serres Police Directorate detected suspicious movements inside the abandoned workshop at 4.30 on Sunday morning. There they located and brought in a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old. The Serres department found that the 15-year-old is the daughter of the 50-year-old man who was killed in Agia Varvara and wanted by the authorities during the last 24 hours. The 15-year-old appeared to be intoxicated and was confusing what she was telling police. It is reported that he mistook the name of his 17-year-old Romanian citizen, whom he called by a different name each time.

The minors were transferred from Serres to the Security of Thessaloniki. The two minors will be examined if they are involved in the murder of the 50-year-old man in Agia Varvara, who was found stabbed in the neck and face. The 50-year-old was living with her daughter, while she had lost her husband last year. It is noted that the investigation revealed that two perpetrators were probably behind the murder.
