EODY is expected to take legal action against the former rector of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Giannis Milopoulos, for spreading false news through his posts on social media.

Giannis Milopoulos, who had been appointed president of Attiko Metro during the SYRIZA government, stated in his post that an acquaintance was waiting in line at EODY to get tested for coronavirus, but as he was late, he left and did not. After a few days, she claims, EODY called her to inform her that the test that had not been performed was positive.

According to EODY, this incident never happened and the organization intends to go to court because it is affected by the false publication that presents it as a danger to public health.
