There are 59 detainees and six prison officials, all asymptomatic and in quarantine. as indicated in a statement from the General Secretariat, all security measures have been met.

The facts in Diavata
According to the information from GGAP, the facts with the positive cases in the Diavata prison are the following:
• On October 20, a prison officer was found to have tested positive for coronavirus.
• On October 23, two more cases of prison personnel were confirmed.
• Another positive employee was found on October 27, as well as on October 31.
• On November 6, the recognition by the “Gennimatas” hospital of all employees was completed and the sixth case was found.
All employees were placed under house arrest from the beginning.
• On October 28, a detainee developed a fever and was transferred to Papanikolaou Hospital, returned to prison and quarantined. A day later, the test came back positive and his contacts were immediately isolated.
• On November 4, 3 confirmed cases were registered and the next day, November 5, they reached 15.
• On November 6, an EODY ladder went to the prison to carry out massive tests.
• On November 8, another 4 tests on prisoners were positive. 150 sampling tests were carried out, mainly on detainees who had had contact with the first cases.
To date, a total of 59 cases have been registered, 58 detainees with coronavirus in prison, while a positive detainee who was transferred to the “Gennimatas” hospital for tonsillitis tested positive and remained there.
