Blockade: For what reasons will the fine of 300 euros be reduced to offenders

According to the clarifications provided by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection Nikos Hardalias, the fines have doubled.

When will the fine be reduced?

Specifically, for trips for false reasons or for trips without SMS, the fine amounts to 300 euros.

In addition, the employer will be fined 500 euros for false declaration.

For the violation of the suspension of the operation of a store, the fine is 5,000 euros, while the natural persons who are responsible for the operation will be sanctioned with a fine of 3,000 euros for the same violation.

“Starting tomorrow, there will be a traffic restriction 24 hours a day, only by SMS for the prescribed reasons. We demand a rational use of this opportunity. The controls will be overwhelming and the fines have been doubled ”, stressed Nikos Hardalias.

For what reasons can a move be made?

According to Nikos Hardalias, the transfer will be made only by SMS for the following reasons:

· Job

Move to school

· Health

Go to a store

Transition to public service

Provide assistance

Go to a funeral

For divorced parents with children

· For physical exercise / movement with an animal / transport of a stray within the municipality

Nikos Hardalias stressed that during the evening citizens should move only if necessary for reasons:

· Job

· Health emergency

Physical exercise near the place of residence

And moving with a pet near the place of residence

How to use SMS

Citizen movements to meet their needs that cannot be met otherwise are allowed only for the following reasons:

· Going to and from work during working hours.

· Go to a pharmacy or visit the doctor, if recommended after the relevant communication.

· Go to an operational store for basic necessities (supermarket, convenience store), where it is not possible to send them.

· Go to the bank, to the extent that an electronic transaction is not possible.

· Moving to help people in need or to accompany younger students to school.

· Attend a funeral under the conditions provided by law or go to divorced parents or those who are in a dimension that is necessary to ensure communication between parents and children, in accordance with current provisions.

· Physical exercise in the open air or movement with a pet, individually or as a couple, observing in the latter case the necessary distance of 1.5 meters.

For going to and from work during working hours, the circulation certificate is permanent (type A) and is provided, under the personal responsibility of the signer, by the employer or, in the case of a legal entity, by their legal representative or, in the case of self-employed. or autonomous, by itself.

For all other movements, the movement certificate refers to each individual movement and only that one (type B), is signed by the person concerned at their own risk and contains the name, date of birth, address of residence and time of the citizen movement. as well as the specific reason for the move

Every time citizens travel, they must carry their ID or passport, as well as a completed circulation certificate (printed or handwritten) or the confirmation SMS, to present it in the case of a check.
