The last clarifications before the closure: How to move, what will remain open, fines | HELLAS

The Vice Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias, made individual clarifications on the framework of the measures that will be applied as of tomorrow and the new confinement.

Regarding travel, he recalled that 24 hours a day there is a restriction on the movement of citizens throughout the country and travel is allowed exceptionally and strictly only by SMS or relevant statement:

• -Because reasons job, go to school, go to health care, go to a working store, go to public service or Bank, move to help or accompany a student to school, go funeral, the transition of divorced parents or parents who are in a necessary dimension to ensure communication between parents and children, as well as physical exercise or movement for the needs of a pet or feeding stray animals.
• –As for next week’s recruits, They can be accompanied by both parents only when they go to the ranking points, while when they go they must carry their travel document and for the parents’ return they must have a certificate that will be issued by the portals of the classification centers.
• – Mr. Hardals clarified that the move by hunting or fishing prohibited and does not fall within one of the reasons provided for the exceptional movement.

What will remain open from Saturday – List of shops and services

Starting on Saturday, all activities are allowed in the primary and secondary sectors, such as industry and manufacturing. As an indication, the following tertiary sector activities are allowed:

• Grocery stores, supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, fishmongers.
• Optics and hearing aids for sale by phone only.
• Stores that sell telecommunications equipment only for electrical and telephone commerce services with home delivery, as well as bill payment services, balance renewal, repair or replacement of mobile devices. E-commerce or e-commerce services with home delivery are allowed.
• It is allowed to operate in laundries, kiosks, pharmacies, gas stations, health and veterinary services, pet shops.
• The operation of the public markets is carried out with the participation of 50% of the producer-merchants at a distance of 5 meters between the stalls and with the suspension of the activity of industrial products.
• Buildings and construction sites remain open.
• Postal and courier companies. (In fact, ELTA issued a relevant information announcement to the public.)

-The realization of theoretical and practical examinations of driver candidates is suspended

-The operation of the training schools for driver candidates is suspended, as well as the operation of the public and private KTEOs, with the exception of the technical control of heavy vehicles.

-The places of worship will be closed and funerals will only be allowed with the presence of up to 9 people.

SMS with code 2 to go to the hairdresser on Saturday and Monday

The minister also clarified that citizens who want to visit a hairdresser in the next two days can send an SMS with the code 2 for transfer.

Double fines

He also announced that the fines are now double. Specifically, natural persons who fail to comply with the obligation to use a mask, the distancing rules and the other traffic regulations by SMS, are now imposed an administrative fine of 300 euros for each violation. With a false certificate from an employer, a fine of 500 euros is imposed on the employer. Companies and individuals that operate in violation of its suspension are subject to an administrative fine of 5,000 euros for each violation, while individuals who are responsible for the operation are fined 3,000 euros for the same violation.
