Clarifications on the measures that will be in force in the country from Saturday, November 7 at 6 in the morning, in the context of general lock announced, by Nikos Hardalias.
The Undersecretary of Civil Protection spoke about sensitive movements, while announcing intensive controls especially at night, without specifically mentioning what will be applied between 9:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m., with information indicating that the ban will be different from those in force in Thessaloniki and Serres.
It shows that for the space 05: 00-21: 00 The movements by SMS are allowed ONLY for the following reasons:
- Traveling for health reasons (going to a pharmacy, visiting a doctor or going to a hospital or health center, if recommended after contact). [SMS – Επιλογή 1]

- Go to a public service, if the electronic or telephone service is not possible only for urgent needs, prior appointment of which the citizen is informed in writing or electronically and under the additional condition of showing the above information. - Go help people in need. Transfer to and from the workplace of a spouse or first-degree relative, if necessary, accompanying the student to school by a parent or guardian [SMS – Επιλογή 4]
- Attend a ceremony (eg Funeral, wedding, baptism) under the conditions provided by law or go to divorced parents or those who are in a necessary dimension to ensure communication between parents and children, in accordance with the provisions. [SMS –Επιλογή 5]
- Physical exercise in the open air or movement with a pet, individually or in pairs of two (2) people, provided that in the latter case the necessary distance of one and a half meters (1.5) is observed. Transition for feeding stray animals, if the transition takes place within the municipality of residence of the citizen. [SMS – Επιλογή 6]
What about the night ban?
The closure in Thessaloniki and Serres was accompanied by a traffic ban from 21:00 to 05:00, and the following reasons for moving were valid:

However, what will be applied as of Saturday throughout the country is different, according to Civil Protection sources who spoke with in.gr. As they specifically mentioned, the problem is not a traffic ban, but a movement restriction.
That is, the movement through space 21:00 – 05:00 it will take place the remainder of the day and for the six reasons allowed above, with a message to 13033 and travel forms, and the zones 05: 00-21: 00 and 21:00 – 05:00 will essentially cease to exist.
In fact, the relevant ministerial decision is expected in the next few hours, where the relevant instructions will be clarified. 
The SMS must be in the form of:

- Go to an operational store of basic necessities (supermarket, mini market), where it is not possible to send them.

- Move around to help people in need or to accompany minor students to / from school.
- Attend a funeral under the conditions provided by law or go to divorced parents or those who are in a dimension that is necessary to ensure communication between parents and children, in accordance with current provisions.
- Physical exercise in the open air or movement with a pet, individually or as a couple, observing in the latter case the necessary distance of 1.5 meters.

The service is available from mobile phones with a SIM card from mobile phone providers operating in Greece (Cosmote, Vodafone GR, Wind). To use the 13033 service, citizens with a device that has a SIM network card abroad can obtain a prepaid connection at the providers’ points of sale. It is recalled that the use of the service 13033 is free.
The 13033 messages refer exclusively to the confirmation of an exceptional movement. 13033 does not send messages that refer to the installation of the software or to a website other than forma.gov.gr.
