According to sources from the Ministry of Health, a total of 1,013 ICU beds currently operate throughout the country. Of these, 698 are employed and 315 are vacant (31%).

There are currently 665 non-COVID ICUs, 478 are occupied and 187 are vacant (28%).

There are 81 non-COVID ICUs in operation in Thessaloniki. Of these, 41 are occupied and 40 are vacant (50%).

There are currently 348 ICU-COVIDs. Of these, 220 are occupied and 128 are vacant (37%).

The ICU-COVID serving the needs of Thessaloniki are currently 102. Of these, 71 are occupied and 31 are vacant (30%).

In Attica hospitals, the ICU-COVID is currently 144. Of these, 104 are occupied and 40 are vacant (28%).
