Thessaloniki and Serres are returning to the March regime with the government proceeding from Tuesday morning for 14 days in a universal lockdown due to the high epidemiological burden in specific areas.

The only exception to the general blockade imposed in the country at the beginning of March is that schools at all levels will remain open, as announced by government spokesman Stelios Petsas.
Shops, bars, restaurants, gyms and churches “roll”, while all sports and cultural activities are suspended. 
As during the general confinement, so in the case of the premises for their trips, the residents of Thessaloniki and Serres should send sms for all trips.
Especially for the period between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. the next day, trips are only allowed for work and health reasons.

What will apply to supermarkets
Mandatory use of a mask (personal and public) 1 person per 10 square meters (4 people from 20 to 100 square meters and 1 person per 10 square meters and additional special disinfection in carts and baskets).
Supermarkets will operate extended hours.
Gas stations and other grocery stores, bakeries, butchers and patisseries will also be open.
Flight ban
Starting at 6 am tomorrow, domestic and international flights will be stopped for non-essential reasons to and from the “Macedonia” airport in Thessaloniki.

The government plan includes a bonus of 534 euros for employees who are suspended from work, as well as a freeze on tax obligations for employees and companies.

As long as the suspension is valid, the dismissals are invalid, while companies, for an equal period after the suspension is lifted, are obliged to keep the same number of employees. 
Companies have the option of suspending the payment of VAT payable in November, until April 30, 2021. This debt will be amortized in 12 installments with zero interest rate or in 24 installments with an interest rate of 2.5%, as of May 2021.
