The wife of the big screen legend, Sir Sean Connery, who passed away at the age of 90, said goodbye to the actor Saturday night, charged with emotions, revealing his unequal fight with dementia.
Revealing how his final months had been marked by dementia, Micheline Rockburn, who had been married to the Oscar-winning star for 45 years, said: “It was not life for him. He was not able to express himself last. At least he died in his sleep and he left so peacefully … I was with him the whole time and he just left. That was what he wanted. “

The 91-year-old French-Moroccan painter, who met the Scottish actor in 1970 at a golf tournament and became his second wife, added: “It was impressive and we had a wonderful life together.
